Website creation for tourism and hospitality in Morocco
Hotels, riads, guest houses, travel agencies and excursion organisers: a site that sells direct, in the traveller's language, before they open a platform.
The traveller booking Morocco decides in minutes, often from a phone, sometimes from the other side of the world. They compare three establishments, look at photos, hunt for the price, and book with the first one to answer clearly. The site's role isn't to tell everything: it must lift doubts in the order they appear, then make booking obvious.
- Our 12 live client sites include four tourism and hospitality players in Marrakech, all with booking or direct contact and a WhatsApp button.
- Public prices September 2026: showcase from 2 499 DH in 7 days, plan with booking from 5 400 DH in 14 days, custom from 9 000 DH.
- Our pages are multilingual French, English and Arabic — a large share of travellers who book direct don't read French.
- Twelve months of follow-up included: fixes, updates and backups after go-live.
Tourism and hospitality trades
A medina riad and a car rental company don't sell the same way. One sells an atmosphere, the other availability and a price. The site follows from that difference.
Hotel
The booking engine is the heart of the site, not a module bolted on at the end. Every room category gets its page, with what's included and what isn't — that's where high-season disputes are avoided.
Riad
A riad sells through atmosphere: courtyard, morning light, terrace at dusk. A platform shows amenities, a site can show a stay. That's the difference that justifies booking direct.
Resort
Several restaurants, a spa, activities: the site must organise this offer instead of juxtaposing it. The main risk is looking like an impersonal establishment, when the exact opposite is what's sought.
Guest house
Small capacity, personal relationship, neighbourhood recommendations. The site must make visible what the host brings: advice, itineraries, cuisine, welcome. That's what brings the traveller back, and what no platform highlights.
Inn and hostel
Travellers mainly compare price per bed and atmosphere. Shared spaces, cleanliness and belongings security are the three decisive topics. Addressing them explicitly avoids repetitive questions.
Travel agency
A tour catalogue, scheduled departures and online booking turn a local agency into a business working the night while the rest of the world plans. Departure dates must be editable without technical intervention.
Tour operator
You work with resellers as much as with travellers. The site must therefore distinguish a public offer from a professional one, with separate terms and rates.
Excursions and private tours
An excursion sells on three pieces of information: the hour-by-hour schedule, what's included — transport, guide, entry, meals — and the per-person price by group size. Omissions about lunch and entry fees are the first cause of complaints.
Desert tours
Duration, type of accommodation — tent bivouac or equipped camp —, means of transport and real distance set apart two offers at the same price. Photos of previous nights reassure more than any text.
Trekking and hiking
The hiker looks for difficulty level, elevation gain, maximum altitude and provided equipment. This data is technical: it must appear in plain text, not in a downloadable brochure.
Tour guide
An independent guide lives off personal reputation. The site presents your spoken languages, your specialities — medina, crafts, gastronomy, history —, your half-day rates and your availability.
Car rental
Four steps are enough: model, dates, options, contact details. Every extra step — account creation, e-mail verification — loses bookings on mobile. The starting price must appear from the first screen.
Tourist transport
Airport transfers, chauffeur hire, long-distance tours: three services, three rates. Airport pickup must state the exact meeting point and the included waiting time.
Camping and glamping
The camper wants to know if there's electricity, hot water, access for a tall vehicle. The glamping client wants night photos and a promise of comfort. Two clienteles, two pages.
Cruises
The day-by-day itinerary, the stops with time ashore, and what's included on board — meals, excursions, tips — drive the decision. A cabin comparison table replaces ten paragraphs.
Hajj and Umrah
The framework is regulated and prices vary by period. The site must be irreproachable on practical information — dates, formalities, supervision, accommodation in Makkah and Madinah — and display the licence number where applicable.
Events agency
Seminars, incentives, destination weddings: the client is a company or a family, and the first question is about coordination capacity. Numbered references — participants, venues, deadlines met — count more than photos.
We refuse interchangeable tourism sites. Yours must look like your establishment: a six-room riad doesn't have the same homepage as a hundred-and-fifty-room resort. That singularity is what makes the difference against a platform, where every accommodation looks alike.
What determines a direct booking
Six elements, in this order of importance. The first three block the booking if missing; the next three make the difference between two comparable establishments.
- Availability on the requested dates — without this information, the traveller returns to the platform where they found the establishment.
- The price and what it includes — breakfast, tourist tax, transfer: ambiguity loses the booking.
- A fast answer — a traveller who writes in the evening and gets an answer only the next day has often already booked elsewhere.
- An English version at minimum — without it, a large share of direct-booking travellers escapes you.
- Dated photos consistent with reality — a gap between photo and room costs a lasting negative review.
- Written cancellation terms — stating them clearly reassures more than a vague policy presented as flexible.
These six points are handled from the mock-up. Fixing them after go-live costs more than planning them upfront, because they touch the page structure, not just the text.
The searches the site must cover
These queries range from broad intent to precise booking. The site answers with a dedicated page for bookable intents, and a hub section for informational searches.
The share of direct bookings doesn't depend only on the site: it also depends on your response time to messages. A perfect site with late replies converts worse than a simple site with replies within the hour.
Prices and lead times
Public rates, excluding hosting and domain name. Any third-party booking-engine commission also remains your responsibility.
| Plan | What it contains | Price | Lead time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Showcase | 5 pages, photo gallery, services, location, WhatsApp contact, bilingual version | 2,499 MAD | 7 days |
| Booking | Up to 12 pages, booking or ordering engine, multilingual FR/EN/AR, reviews | 5,400 MAD | 14 days |
| Custom | Channel manager, online payment, several languages, dedicated areas, written content | 9 000 DH and up | 21 days |
For comparison, do the maths on your own nights: the cost of a single night paid to a platform, multiplied by your annual volume, generally exceeds the price of a site. That's the figure that matters, not the quote amount.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a hotel or riad site cost in Morocco?
A presentation site starts at 2 499 DH and is delivered in 7 days. A site with a booking engine starts at 5 400 DH and takes 14 days. The full option — several languages, online payment, channel manager connection — starts at 9 000 DH. Hosting and domain remain your responsibility, about 500 to 1 200 DH per year.
Can the site connect to Booking to avoid double bookings?
Yes. The connection goes through a channel manager, which syncs availability between your site and the platforms. It's the solution we recommend as soon as an establishment sells on more than one channel, because a double booking costs more than the channel manager subscription.
Is an English version needed, and in what order should other languages be added?
English is the first language to add after French: a large share of direct-booking travellers don't read French. Spanish and German come next, depending on your real clientele. We advise you based on your statistics rather than assumptions.
Can the site collect a deposit online?
Yes. The online payment solutions available in Morocco allow collecting a deposit at booking time. The no-show rate drops sharply once a deposit is requested — often the decisive argument for taking the step.
What to do about already-published negative reviews?
They're handled, not hidden. A written, factual reply that acknowledges the problem and describes what was fixed weighs more with a future traveller than a perfect rating with no comments. The site can display your verifiable reviews provided they're genuinely linked to a source.
